Ronald Dean Carter

Ron Carter, 69, passed away September 16, 2016, in his home in Ozark. He was born in Springfield to John and Alberta Carter. Survivors are his wife, Bonnie, 2 sons, Michael Carter (wife Amy) of Camdenton, and Brian Carter (wife Robyn) of Springfield; 3 daughters, Wendy Burton, Scottsville, KY; Tammy Carter and Kelly Stadler (husband Jerry) of Springfield. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren: Hayden, Cole, William, Dalton, Brandy, and Allie Burton, all in Scottsville, KY; Alison, Abigail and Anderson Carter of Camdenton; Cale Carter, Lenexa, KS, Kyndal and Emersyn Carter of Springfield; William and Kaylee Hinze of Springfield and Cameron Stadler of Springfield. He also has 2 great grandchildren; Extended family includes his sister, Sandy Johnson (spouse Brent) of Sparta and brother Randy. Ron is preceded in death by his mother, Alberta Carter, and his father, John Carter, both of Springfield. With regard to Ron's wishes, he is being cremated and had requested that no services be performed.
