Ronald Lee Andrews

Ronald Lee Andrews, age 72, of Nixa, Missouri, formerly of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 in his home. He was born May 21, 1940 in Oklahoma City, the son of Morris and Lucille (Ertel) Andrews. He lived most of his life in Wichita, Kansas, and retired from Andrews Boot and Shoe Repair. On March 6, 1981 he and Cheryl Smith were united in marriage. They lived in Wichita before moving to Texas for a short time and then to Nixa in 2004 to be near their children. Ronald was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Springfield, Missouri. He enjoyed old cars and had been a member of antique car clubs. Survivors include: His wife, Cheryl; two sons, Don A. Andrews and wife Kim of Charleston, West Virginia, and Thomas A. Andrews and wife Rachel of Emporia, Kansas; a daughter Sherra A. Kuestersteffen and husband Rich, Emporia, Kansas; two step-sons, Kyle P. Smith, Nixa, and Jason A. Smith of Clever, Missouri; a step-daughter, Vonda K. Bermea of Wichita; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, February 22, in Downing and Lahey Mortuary, East Side Chapel, Wichita, Kansas, with burial following in Wichita Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 "� 8:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home. Local arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
