Rodney Leroy Pennington

     Rodney Leroy Pennington, age 66 of Ozark, left to be with his heavenly Father on February 26, 2023.  He was born March 27, 1956 in Princeton, West Virginia, the son of Lewis and Rosalee (Huff) Pennington.
     

     Rodney served his country in the U.S. Navy Seabees. He served from 1976 until 1983, stationed on the East Coast, Canada and Mississippi, with a tour in Guam as a Ham and heavy equipment operator. 
     

     On January 24, 1976 Rodney was united in marriage to Patricia Likes. 
     

     Survivors include:  his wife, Patricia Pennington of Ozark; children, Lewis Pennington and wife Amber, Travis Pennington and wife Missy and Samantha Bailey and husband Scotty; grandchildren, Braxton, Xander “Bob”, Lilli, Brittany, Logan, Kyle, Breanna, Diamond, Christopher, Daniel and Gage Michael; his brothers, Ronnie Pennington and wife Brenda and Roger Pennington and wife Geneva; his sister in law, Jeanie Ramsey and husband Bob, and his beloved dog, Max.
   

      Rodney was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Vicki Jernigan.

     A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Pat Thornton officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
