Roberta JoAnn Whitlock

Roberta JoAnn Whitlock, age 78, of Ozark, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017. She was born November 3, 1938, in the Green Mound Ridge area between Ozark and Branson. On July 1, 1956, she and Donald Gene Whitlock were united in marriage. Roberta was a homemaker and served as a minister's wife alongside her husband. Rev. Whitlock preceded Roberta in death in 1997. A son, James Allen Whitlock also preceded her in death. Roberta enjoyed sewing and gardening, and especially loved her roses. Survivors include: Three children, Donetta Jo Whitlock of Springfield, Marvin Lee Whitlock of Springfield, and David Anthony Whitlock of Ozark; and a grandson, James Anthony Whitlock of Ozark. A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 10, in Highlandville Cemetery, with Pastor Joe Lafferty officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
