Roberta Kimrey

Roberta was born on September 4, 1959, to Alberta Bernice Breland and Robert Gordon Kimrey in Denver, Colorado. She grew up in and around Hartville, Missouri, but lived most of her adult life in Springfield.. Roberta is survived by her sister Rita Smith and husband Jeff and family, of Hartville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her mother Alberta Lovelace in 2015. Roberta graduated from Hartville High School in 1977. Following high school graduation, she completed her studies at Southwest Missouri State University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, and graduated in 1992 from Central Bible College with an emphasis in Music. Roberta taught her family and friends how to live with great adversity. She was a person who knew how to speak openly and honestly with whomever she was interacting.. Her love for her Lord was seen in every aspect of her life. Even while she was going through several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, Roberta still smiled and witnessed for her Lord during those treatments with other patients and medical staff. Roberta saw her Savior face to face on Monday, May 1, at 4:15 p.m. She was surrounded by her family and friends. We rejoice with her today because she has heard, "Well done, good and faithful servant!" Our lives have truly been enriched and blessed because we knew Roberta Kimrey.
