Robert Francis Steffke

Robert Francis Steffke, age 95 of Springfield, Missouri passed away in his home on August 12, 2021. Robert was born in Tacoma, Washington on January 7, 1926. Robert served his country in World War II in the United States Army Infantry in Okinawa, Japan. After the war Bob moved to South California where he met Jacqueline Audrey Young. They married and had six children; Robert, Lisa, Richard, Linda, Mark, and Diana. Bob worked as an engineer in the aerospace industries in Southern California and Washington. Bob was an avid golfer who also enjoyed gourmet cooking, traveling, and gardening. Bob was a very kind and generous spirit who will be missed by his family and friends. Cremation is under the care of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri. Interment at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, will be at a later date.
