Robert Stanley Parham, age 84 of Ozark, passed away December 22, 2021. He was born February 12, 1937 in Perry, Missouri, the son of Gilbert and Celma (Moore) Parham.
On January 24, 1959, Stan was united in marriage to Shirley Robbins. They moved to the Ozark area in 1966.
In 1954 Stan joined the U.S. Navy and served until his retirement in 1980. Stan was Master Chief when he retired. In 1978 Stan started his real estate company and retired on June 1, 2013.
Stan loved to study the Bible, enjoyed duck hunting and fishing; and family dinners on Sunday nights. Stan was a member of Ozark General Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Shirley Parham of Ozark; children, Sheila Lloyd and husband James, Sonya Wells and Rick Parham and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Amy, Stephanie, Zach, Chelsy, Colt, Taylor and Hunter; 12 great grandchildren (and one on the way); a sister, Betty Young; a host of nieces and nephews and a slew of friends.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jimmy Parham; a sister, Bonny Parham; a granddaughter, Brook; and a son in law, Rick Wells.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Allen Maples and Mark Aker officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be from 10-11 A.M. immediately before the funeral on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Salvation Army.
