Robert Joseph Huntington

Robert Joseph Huntington, age 74, passed away in his home, in Nixa, September 19, 2012. He was born to Clarence and Evelyn (Van Neil) Huntington in Cleveland, OH, June 24, 1938. He served his Country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Robert was united in marriage to Dorita Miller on August 14, 1965. Robert retired from Eastman Kodak in Loveland CO in 2000. He worked in the graphic art division where he manufactured film. Robert loved to hunt and fish in the Colorado Mountains. He was an avid bowler, and went to Las Vegas every year to bowl in tournaments. Robert was also an excellent dancer. He did all different kinds of dancing, including dancing while wearing roller skates. Robert loved music, especially country and polka. Robert loved his family and he will be dearly missed. Robert is survived by his wife, Dorita, his son Jason of Loveland, CO, his daughter Shelly Huntington and husband Paul Ross, of Loveland CO. His sister Shirley, of Parma, OH, grandchildren Seth and Sierrah of Loveland, CO, Krissy of Glendale AZ, and two great grandchildren, Jayden and Shane. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held in Colorado at a future date. Cremation is under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
