Robert Raymond Forth, of Highlandville, passed away at his home in the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Bob was born on August 28, 1925 in Coffeyville, KS. He was the youngest of four brothers, all of whom predeceased him. A veteran of World War II, Bob served as a Navy signalman in various theaters in the Pacific. He and Meleese Cole married in 1947 and both graduated in 1950 from Oklahoma State University. Bob worked as civil engineer for the US Bureau of Reclamation in California and Nebraska before settling in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he worked for the City of Tulsa, retiring from the position of Engineering Director in 1983. Bob and Meleese moved to Highlandville, MO and became active in local churches and mission projects. He enjoyed wood working, making toys and gifts for family and friends, and generously lent his engineering skills as well as his labor to a variety of church building projects Bob was the beloved father of three children, Brent, Rodney and Linda, grandfather to Justin, Casey, Tara, Nathan, Jared, Robert and Charles, and great grandfather to Olivia, Aubrey, Blythe and Garrett. A visitation is scheduled for 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, May 5 at Adams Funeral Home, 504 West Walnut Street in Ozark, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10am Friday at Selmore Baptist Church, 4768 Selmore Road, Ozark, MO. . In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Selmore Baptist Church Building Fund
