Lynn Barnes

Robert “Lynn” Barnes, age 85 of Ozark, passed away December 18, 2021. He was born May 2, 1936 in Aurora, the son of Robert Lee and Kate (Williams) Barnes.

On April 24, 1960 he was united in marriage to Nancy (Werle.)

Lynn served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a contractor and home builder. Lynn enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include: his wife Nancy Barnes of Ozark; children, Terry Barnes and wife Debbie of Ozark, Larry Barnes and wife Angie of Ozark and Gary Barnes and wife RaeAnn of Ozark; grandchildren, Tyler and Jana Barnes of Ozark, Kelsey and Dabe Searcy of Denver, Colorado, Jessica Barnes of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kate and Trent Johnson of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Levi Barnes of Ozark, Zeke and Alina Barnes of Pembroke Pines, Florida, Sabrina Barnes of Ozark and Forrest Barnes of Ozark; great grandchildren, Mason Barnes, Conner Barnes, Reese Barnes and Quinn Searcy; and a brother Van Barnes and wife Barbara of Springfield.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 P.M. Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Union Hill Church of Christ, Nixa, with Steve Martin officiating. .

Memorial donations may be made to Fairhaven Children’s Home in Strafford, Missouri or World Christian Broadcasting in Franklin, Tennessee.
