Ricky A. Huff

Ricky Alvin Huff, 61, of Nixa, Missouri, went to be with the Lord the morning of February 16, 2018, in Christian County, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma Lou Gimlin and Alvin Douglas Huff; his wife, Connie Kay Getman; his brother, Daniel Huff; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Burkhart. He was devoted father to Leslie (Miles Hamilton) Pruitt, Shane (Jillian) Huff, and Ricky (Carol) Huff Jr.; a loving grandfather to Kourtney Pruitt, Kailee Pruitt, Zoe Hamilton, Olivia Huff, and Ethan Huff; cherished brother to Tom (Joleen) Huff, Dale (Shirley) Huff, and Douglas (Janet) Huff; brother-in-law to Velma Horton, Lou Manning, Kenneth Getman, and Otis Getman; loving uncle to Tim Huff and family, John Huff and family, Gregg Huff and family, Cindy White and family, Emily Huff and family; and a friend to many. Ricky loved being outdoors and spending time at the river. Bull Creek was his favorite place to be. He loved to find rocks, stones, and artifacts while spending time outdoors. He was a self-proclaimed Southwest Missouri archeologist. He was very fond of riding his motorcycle riding, leather crafting, and have fun whenever he could. He also enjoyed sharing his time with friends and family, and his heart with the Lord. He wanted to have a deeper relationship with the Lord and to share his faith with others. He was always there for others when they needed him, especially his loved ones. Although he had a tough exterior, inside he had a big heart and loved unconditionally. He struggled with many obstacles throughout life, but always found a way to push through them. He is now at peace and no longer in pain. We will forever carry his memory in our hearts.
