Rick Holt

Rick Holt, age 64, of Taneyville, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017, in Florida, from heart complications while visiting friends. He was born December 11, 1952. On November 3, 1982 he and Susan were married. Rick was a home builder before retirement. He was a professional fisherman, and enjoyed golf. Rick was a musician and loved playing the guitar. Survivors include: His wife Susan; a son, Tommy Grafton of Taneyville; four grandchildren, Mason, Hannah, Addielin and Jordan; five great-grandchildren, Braden, Sarah, Gretchyn, Haden and Holliday; his father Ed Holt and wife Laveta of Nixa; a brother Michael Holt and wife Cathy of Ozark; a sister, Veneta Mitchell and husband Dean of Fordland; and nephews and nieces, Johnny, Jenny, Amanda, Lacey, Kim and Steve. His mother, Virgie Rippee and husband Russell, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 19, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Bruner Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
