Richard Gerald See

 Richard "Dick" Gerald See, age 78, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024. He was born on November 4, 1946, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Gerald See and Wilda (Lormor) See.

 Dick married Roberta “Bobbie” Meyer on December 16, 1967, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and they shared 57 wonderful years together. He worked as an electrical construction estimator at Electrical Equipment Company and was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his trade, retiring after 30 years. 

 Dick was a devoted member of Aldersgate Church in Nixa, where he was actively involved in the church. He volunteered in the handyman group, his Sunday School class and the men's Bible study. He enjoyed his time spent with his friends while serving the church community. He also supported the church’s charitable work, including volunteering at The Least of These in Nixa. 

 Above all, Dick cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who lovingly called him "Poppy." Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Dick was a jokester who could always make people smile.

 Dick is survived by his loving wife, Roberta “Bobbie” See; his daughters, Melissa See (Bryan Foster), Michelle Carpenter (Bud) and Stephanie Pycior (Mitch); his son, Richard Tyler See (Rachel); and his cherished grandchildren: Mason, Payton, Lilly, Courtney, Marrissa, Lexi, Jake, Sage, Keagan, Cayleigh, Laila, Kyla, Abel, and Stella. He also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Zeke, Eloise, and Stevie; his sister, Donna Hilden; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

 Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Wilda See, two brothers, and a sister.

 Dick’s legacy of laughter, love, and service will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.

 The family is hosting a visitation from 10:00 am. to 11:30 am. Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Aldersgate Church, Nixa A memorial service will follow at 11:30 am in the Church.

 Memorial donations in lieu of Flowers may be made to Aldersgate Church, 460 W. Aldersgate Nixa, Missouri.
