Richard Lee Rollings

Richard Lee “Rick” Rollings, age 69 of Galena, passed away September 20, 2024. He was born October 28, 1954 in Branson, the son of Leamond Elbert and Shirley Rae (Pinkley) Rollings.

On February 10, 1973, Rick was united in marriage to Sue (Gideon).

Rick was a self employed farmer and worked in trucking.

Survivors include: his wife, Sue Rollings of Galena; his son, Rick Rollings, Jr. of Galena; a brother, Ray Rollings and wife Pam of Spokane; his sisters, Sue Brashears and husband Jack of Kansas City and Gayle Thom and husband Kevin of South Dakota; a sister in law, Kristy Russell and husband Jim of Aurora; a brother in law, Kerry Gideon and wife Lora of Grove, Oklahoma; a special sister in law Darlene Edley; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. 

Rick was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and sister in law, Lewis Rollings and wife Margie; and a great niece, Haleigh Brooke Stanton.

 A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Lee Parsons officiating. Burial will follow at Spokane Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2024 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
