Richard Dale Frank

Richard Dale Frank, age 79, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016. He was born July 13, 1937 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Clarence Robert Frank and Frances Violet Knight Frank. He grew up in LaCygne Kansas and attended Brookyln Ridge School and LaCygne High School. He served in the US Army in the fifties, stationed in Turkey and working as a cook. He married Sabina Snow on Christmas Eve, 1965. He spent most of his life in home construction. Richard, Dick to family and friends, enjoyed woodworking, hunting, wildlife and spending time with his family. All who knew him well enjoyed his gruff sense of humor and his love of fun. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles Frank, Robert Frank, Leonard Frank and Howard Frank and his sister Dorothy Frank Thompson. He is survived by wife Sabina Snow Frank; son Mark Frank and his wife Kumiko and their children Kouta and Momoko; daughter Janette Frank Smith and her daughter Violet; sister Marilyn Poole; sister Marge Stevens; as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri. A memorial service will be 11:30 AM Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in First Christian Church, 406 North Broadway Street, LaCygne, Kansas 66040.
