Rex Ray Cobb, age 85 of Ozark, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016. He was born April 9, 1931 in Ozark, the son of Charles and Emma (DeWitt) Cobb.
Rex served his country in the U.S. Navy before retirement. After retirement from the U.S. Navy, Rex worked as a farmer on his own farm. Rex enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching television.
Survivors include: his daughter, Dawn Crain and husband Claude of Springfield; his son, Dan Cobb of Springfield; his grandchildren, Loren Crain and wife Courtney, Nicci Westbrook and husband Eddy, and Evan Cobb; and a great grandson, Jack Crain.
Rex was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Fern.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Rex's honor to Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
