Rebecca Ann Stutesmun

Rebecca Ann "Becky" Stutesmun, age 64, of Highlandville, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016. Becky was born August 16, 1951 in Ozark, the daughter of James Harley and Norma Faye (Anderson) Reed. On September 14, 1968 she and James Everett "Jamo" Stutesmun were united in marriage. Three children were born to this marriage, Anthony, Jason and Angela. Angela preceded Becky in death as well as her parents. Becky was a devoted Christian and a member of Highlandville Church of Christ. Friends and family members enjoyed the many, many, colorful cards with sticker covered envelopes she sent. She enjoyed the outdoors including birds, flowers, and fish. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life, and she loved spending time with each of them. Survivors include: Her husband of 47 years, Jamo; two sons and their wives, Anthony and Candi Stutesmun of Highlandville, and Jason and Rachel Stutesmun of Oldfield; grandchildren, Andria, Hunter, Mikayela, and Emma; a sister Janice House and husband Ed of Oldfield; nephews, Justin House and wife Katie, and Andrew House and wife Elizabeth; great nieces, Haley, Gretchen, Akacia and Elliana. a special friend, Bonnie Nelson; special extended family members, Annie, Lillian, Carol and Charlotte; and many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, January 24, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Eric Wilson and Ted Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Highlandville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Sunday until service time.
