Rebecca Lynn Mills

Rebecca Lynn Mills came into this world March 1st, 1957 and was called into her Lord's presence, Friday, April 27, 2018. ‘Becky' was the youngest of three daughters and is preceded in death by her parents Margaret ‘Kenney' Kaiser and Alan Kaiser. Surviving are her husband of 40 years Michael Mills; her two children; Luke Mills of Springfield, and her daughter Karen ‘Mills' Capen and husband Matt of Ozark, and their children Makenna and Chase, Sisters Ruth ‘Kaiser' Cuthbertson of Quincy, Illinois and children Courtney and Drew; Amy ‘Kaiser' Miller of Brunswick, Georgia, and her children Tim and Gretchen. Rebecca was employed as an RN at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Peters many years before relocating to Springfield in 2010 with her husband Michael to be near her children and grandchildren. She joined Oxford Healthcare where she was employed through 2017 when cancer of the brain required her retirement. Becky was an exceptional and amazing person who influenced everyone's life for the better by her love and caring manner. She will be deeply missed by many people who loved her very much. A celebration of her life will begin with a visitation at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa, Thursday May 3rd, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and funeral service Friday May 4th at 10:00 a.m. immediately followed by internment at Hazelwood Cemetery in Springfield. Her family invites you to a luncheon at Aldersgate United Methodist Church following the burial. Memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Nixa, MO., and Fordland United Methodist Church Building Fund, Fordland, MO.
