Rebecca Ann (Becky) Hamm, age 67, of Ozark, passed away on April 7, 2015. She was born July 16, 1947 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, the daughter of Raymond and Jessie (Cofer) Martin.
Rebecca graduated from Hampshire High School, in Romney, WV in 1965. In 1969 she graduated from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN. Rebecca worked as a Dental Assistant and Office Manager. She had been a Pastor's wife for many years as well, and the focus in her life was the Lord and her church family. Rebecca was a member of Southland Christian Church. She was devoted to her family, and enjoyed taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed music and playing the piano. She was also a sports fan and especially supported the University of Kentucky Wildcats and St. Louis Cardinals.
Survivors include: her father, Raymond A. Martin; four children, Rebecca Hope Hamm, Paul Martin Hamm, Jessica Lynn Hamm, and Rachel Leigh Reeves and husband Kevin; six grandchildren, Kristen, Derek, Kaleb, Dakota, Rebecca "Becca," and Allen; two great-grandchildren, Addison and Aiden; a sister, Barbara Grasham and husband Gene; three brothers and their wives, Richard and Patty Martin, Stephen and Ann Martin, and David and Cathy Martin; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, B.J. Harvill.
Her mother, Jessie Martin, preceded Rebecca in death.
Visitation will be Friday, April 10, from 5-8 p.m. at Southland Christian Church, Springfield. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the church, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark.
