Raymond Curtis Judd, age 71, of Spokane, Missouri, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Thursday, August 1, 2013. He was born August 20, 1941, in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska, the son of George Lane Judd and Margaret Lucille (Lanning) Judd. On October 11, 1964, he and Shirley Ann Tibbetts were united in marriage. Ray proudly served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1984. After several years he started Slab Masters Concrete Leveling Company and Helitech Piering, retiring in 2002. He served as choir director for 19 years at Faith Baptist Church in Belleville, Illinois and as sound technician for Faith Baptist Church in Spokane. Ray loved building and working with his hands. He was always willing to help others and was beloved by his wife, his family and many, many friends. Survivors include: His wife, Shirley; three children and their spouses, Raye Pruitte and Michael of Hilliard, Florida, Lisa Kotvas and Joe of Lima, Peru, and Gary R. Judd and Erika of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Timothy, Rebekah and Rachel (Raye"�s children), Joseph, Julianne, James, Jared, Judson, Joy, John, Joel, Jessica, and Jennifer (Lisa"�s children), Austin, Curtis and Colby (Gary"�s children); two brothers, Gary L. Judd and wife Joyce of Rockaway Beach, Missouri, and John Judd and wife Mary Lou of Cromwell, Iowa; a sister, Sheri Judd of Creve Coeur, Missouri; nieces and nephews; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Lane Judd, granddaughters Kimberly and Jennica, and his parents. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, August 4, in Faith Baptist Church, Spokane, with Pastor James Mohler officiating. Private burial will be on Monday in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be from 5:00 "� 7:00 PM Saturday in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, Spokane, for the missions outreach, Efata Ministry in Peru.
