Ray Gene Johns

Ray Gene Johns, 61, died on Thursday, December 23, 2015. Ray fought a tough fight with CNS Lymphoma. Born October 25, 1954, in Springfield and lived most of his life in Nixa. He was employed by Bass Pro Shops for 35 years where he made lifelong friends. Survivors include wife, Paula Johns; 3 children, Ashlee Johns, Shane Robinson & Tabitha Batutis, and Dustin & Mandi Robinson; siblings Joyce McNeal, Joel & Janet Johns, Jeff & Kathy Johns, Paul & Regina Johns, Jeanette & Glen Frey; 4 grandchildren and 2 nieces, and many friends. We will all remember him for his humor and unconditional love. A visitation will be held Sunday, December 27 at 1:00 and Celebration of Life at 2:00 at Fremont Hills Baptist Church, 4375 N Fremont Rd, Nixa, MO 65721. Burial will follow at McConnell-Bledsoe Cemetery, Nixa Memorials may be made to C.A.R.E Animal Shelter or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
