Ray Hanks Handy

Ray H. Handy, age 87, of Ozark, passed away December 16, 2015. He was born January 25, 1928, in Ozark, the son of Clifford and Trevo (Hanks) Handy. On April 12, 1941 he was united in marriage to Carole Pruitt. Ray was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church in Ozark. Ray was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a daughter, Linda Harrell. Survivors include: his daughter, Sandy Craig and husband Jesse, Springfield; a loving companion, Katie Strickland; six grandchildren David Lee Harrell and wife Betsy, Knoxville, Tennessee, Charles Gragg and wife Tina, Springfield, Missouri, Susan Harrell, Knoxville, Tennessee, Carrie Renee Gragg, Springfield, Missouri, Karen Harrell, Knoxville, Tennessee and Jamie Ray Gragg, Ozark, Missouri; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Adams Funeral Home Ozark, with Pastor Bob Long officiating. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery.
