Ray Bryant

Lavoice Ray Bryant, age 65 of Highlandville, passed away January 26, 2013. He was born July 9, 1947 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Elgie and Francis (Whitus) Bryant. Mr. Bryant served his country in the U. S. Marines in Fire and Rescue for 9 1/2 years. On December 4, 1970 he married Judy Anella. Mr. Bryant worked all over Texas and Missouri as a commercial mechanic. He loved his family and being outdoors. Survivors include: his wife, Judy Bryant, Highlandville, two daughters, Cheryl Santos and husband Art, Edgerton, Kansas and Karen LaFoe and husband Carl, Hoffman Estates, Illinois; and two grandchildren, Tyler Davis and Nikolas LaFoe. Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Minister Eric Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. with full military honors in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
