Randy Baker

Randy Jene Baker, age 61, of Galena, the son of Hamilton Ashley and Opal Mae (Stafford) Baker was born of May 17, 1956 in Ozark. Randy passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 surrounded by his family. Randy was a life long resident of the Galena area. He married Karen Patrick May 30, 1975, celebrating 42 years of marriage. Randy loved to spend time fishing and being with his granddaughters. Randy enjoyed teasing friends and family. He was very outgoing and never knew a stranger. He was always near when needed and the first to help a friend or family member. Randy worked for Mills Construction for over 25 years pouring basements. Randy is survived by his wife, Karen; his two daughters Randa Willis, her husband Josh of Highlandville, and Ashley Cutbirth, and her husband Justin of Aurora; two granddaughters Peyton Brooke Cutbirth and Zoe Grace Cutbirth; two brothers Bob Baker of Galena and Jerry Baker, his wife Verva of Springfield; his father and mother-in-law Donald and Evelyn Patrick of Spokane; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Randy is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Dorothy Baker, Maxine Tennison, Jiggs Arnold, and Peggy Harris; and two infant brothers. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM prior the the funeral service in the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
