Randall Thomas Brion

Randall Thomas Brion, 65, of Ozark passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Randy was born in the small Wisconsin town of Mondovi on January 12, 1957; the son of Gordon and Myrtle (Bjorgo) Brion. On June 21, 1980 inside the Zion Lutheran Church of Mondovi Randy was united in marriage to Cynthia Sabelko. From this union came two daughters, Stephanie and Samantha. Randy worked in retail meat for over 30 years, before finally retiring in 2013 as a Meat Department Manager.

Randy had many passions in his life. In his younger days up north, Randy was an avid hunter. Even though he gave up hunting after the move to Ozark, Randy had other outdoor activities he enjoyed. Being a born-and-bred Wisconsite, Randy loved his Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers, but watching his grandchildren play ball was where his love for sports and his family really shone. Randy loved his family and friends more than anything else in this world. A hobbyist woodworker, Randy built furniture and even kitchens -mostly just for his family and friends. There was no doubt, this often-barefooted man who was meticulous about his lawn, loved his family more than anything else in this world, and his ray of light will be missed.

Randy leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Cynthia Brion; two daughters, Stephanie Kronebusch and husband, Dan, of Ozark; and Samantha Holst and husband, Wade, of Plainview, MN; five grandchildren, Jake, Luke, Bella, Leah, and Charly; and four brothers, Gary, Richard, Dennis, and Floyd. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation Rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held for Randy at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark. Following a short ceremony, friends and relatives are invited to a Visitation, from approximately 1:20 PM until 3:00 PM. A Memorial Gathering will also be held in Wisconsin on a later date.
