Priscilla Ann Saarinen

Priscilla Ann Saarinen, age 79, peacefully passed away, surrounded by her family, May 19, 2012. She was born to Roland and Mildred Pudvah, August 31, 1932, in Woodsville, New Hampshire. She was united in marriage to Russell Saarinen, May 16, 1953. Priscilla was a homemaker for many years and later became an executive secretary for Stimpson Company, Inc., in Florida. Priscilla was a wonderful mother to her four daughters, and loving Nanny to her grandchildren. To know Priscilla was to know an angel. Her sweet sweet smile, her giving and loving ways, is a testimony of her devotion and love for Jesus Christ and her joy which does not end with her physical absence. She always saw the good in everything and everyone. She loved to laugh, sing and spend time with her family. She will be more than missed. Our precious Priscilla is and always will be a special gift to her daughters and all who knew her. Priscilla is survived by her 4 daughters, Lisa Hahn and husband Robert, of Lake Worth, FL, Joi Fling and husband Jim, of New Bern, NC, Susan Russo and husband Patrick, of Clever, MO, and Marylou Porat and husband Eylon, of Nixa, MO. Her grandchildren Victor Saarinen, Rachelle Caldarazzo, and Leslie Merriman, 2 sisters Betty Shelley and Dorene Herriott. Priscilla is preceded in death by her parents. A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2012, from 5:00 and 6:00 P.M., with funeral services to follow at 6:00 P.M., at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
