Phillis Jean Coe, age 74, of Ozark slipped quietly into the arms of our Lord October 10, 2013 in her home.
Phillis was the daughter of Emmanuel and Bertha Ruhl and was born January 9, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri.
She married Thomas Coe and celebrated 57 years of marriage on October 7, 2013. She accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of Countryside Christian Church.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents; her daughter, Pamela Jean Detwiler; sisters, Louise, Dolly, and Ann; brothers, Joe, Leroy, Everett and Charles.
Phillis is survived by her husband Tom; their three children, Robert Coe of Lowell, Arkansas, Melissa and Jeff Bilyeu of Chadwick, Missouri, and Linda and Alvin Nelson of Ava, Missouri; 13 grandchildren, Jason Detwiler and wife Chloe, Jessica Detwiler, Jennifer Detwiler, Katelyn Coe, Travis Bilyeu and wife Candace, Stacy Highfill and husband James, Kimberly Bilyeu, Brandon Maggard and wife Kristen, Matthew Maggard, Elijah Nelson and wife Brooke, Jacob Nelson, Joshua Nelson and Emmanuel Nelson; 13 great-grandchildren; special friends, Marlene and Frank Hollis and family, Mary Helen Chaffin and Harriet Hunley; and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 14, 2013 with Pastor Rodney McCann officiating at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark with visitation before the service starting at 10:00 A.M.
