Phillip Lasiter, age 82 of Ozark, passed away April 26, 2024. He was born August 25, 1941 in Aurora, the son of Ray and Judy (Harris) Lasiter.
On October 24, 1974, Phillip was united in marriage to Ina Coker.
Phillip served his country in the U.S. Army overseas in the Vietnam War. After his service, he worked as a security guard until retirement. He enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels cars, fishing, and garage sales.
Survivors include: his wife of 49 years and six months, Ina Lasiter of Ozark; his children, Kaye Adams and husband Dean of Highlandville and Michael Lord and Jennifer of Galena; three grandchildren, Kevin, Krystal and Penny of Galena; two great grandchildren, Hayden and Jaxon; his siblings, Lois Starnes of Ozark, Mary Ann Rouse and husband Gene of Nixa, Alma and Billy Coker of Ozark, Cynthia and Roy Parsley of Ozark, David and Michelle Lasiter of Granvy, Missouri, Virgil Lasiter of Pierce City, Robert Lasiter and wife Edith, and Charles and Shirley Lasiter of Granby, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Jonathan Shane Burns; and a sister, Charlotte Lupton.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Protem Community Church with Reverend Gary Jennings officiating. Burial will follow at Protem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m., Monday, April 29, 2024 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
