Perry Don Shipman

Perry Don Shipman, age 62 of Nixa, died September 14, 2023. He was born November 3, 1960 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the son of Clinton Carter and Mary Ann (Clayton) Shipman.

Perry was a member of Union Hill Church of Christ where he was very active. He enjoyed spending time with his family – especially his granddaughter, Paisley and going on camping trips with his brothers. He spent his time working, hunting, fishing, playing frisbee golf, and playing piano for hours. In 2021 he received his scuba diving certification. He was very outgoing and never knew a stranger.

Survivors include: his children, Sabrina Shipman (Luis) of Tennessee and Priscilla Shipman (Chaz) of Osage Beach; his granddaughter, Paisley Vanderploeg of Osage Beach; his siblings, Johnny Shipman, Robert Hodges, Joanna Mercer and Glenda Brown; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Perry was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Union Hill Church of Christ in Nixa, with Chaplain Steve Martin officiating. All are welcome.

Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.  Arrangements are under direction of Adam Funeral Home, Ozark.
