Peggy L. Southerland

Peggy Lorraine Southerland age 73 of Spokane, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016. She was born April 12, 1943 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Embry and Juanita (Harper) Yarbrough. On April 22, 1976 Peggy was united in marriage to Byron Southerland. Peggy loved spending time with her children and grandchildren - whether over the phone or family get togethers. She loved traveling and RVing with her husband. Peggy was a homemaker and a member of Selmore Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Byron Southerland, Spokane; three children, Melody Mulvihill and husband Bill, Selina Goodwin and Steven Southerland, Jr.; four grandchildren, Derek Renko, Brandon Renko, Caleb Busch and Brittany Golbourne; two great grandchildren, Madison and Eli; a sister, Emily Sanderson and husband Jeff; a sister in law, Janice Southerland; two brothers in law, Guy Southerland and wife Cheryl and Mike Southerland wife Rosie; and her father in law, Weylan "Al" Southerland. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 in Selmore Baptist Church, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Mac McCully officiating. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
