Peggy Deanne Shaffer, 58, a lifelong resident of Nixa, Missouri passed from this world on March 2, 2012. She will be met in her heavenly home by her son Aaron Matthew, mother Erma Fleming, and brother Kenneth Dean Hull. Peggy devoted her life to her three daughters, Allison Harrington, Autumn Hardin and Ashleigh MacPherson and had recently found immeasurable joy in watching her four young grandsons, Jack, Oliver, Harrison and Patrick grow. She is survived by her daughters and their father Gary Shaffer, her four grandsons, her sister, Tammy Bowling, brothers David Fleming and John Richard Hull, nieces, nephews and countless friends. To those who knew her, Peggy was vibrant, compassionate and was immensely generous, never meeting a stranger. She was a mother to all those she knew, always freely giving of her time and love. She was a lover of all animals, but especially her two little Japanese Chin puppies Kempo and Kiwi, who accompanied her to the glory land. Peggy was a child of the Lord always relishing in the day she would meet her heavenly father. During her life; Peggy always hoped that when she passed, those she loved would celebrate her life, not mourn her loss. We invite you to do so at a visitation on Monday, March 5 from 5-7 in the evening and at her funeral Tuesday, March 6 at 2:00 p.m, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa Memorial Donations can be made to the Christian County Humane Society. Cremation is under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
