Peggy Carrol "O'Neil" Montiel

Peggy Carrol "O"�Neil"� Montiel, age 74 of Nixa, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013. She was born February 1, 1939 in Nixa, the daughter of John and Lucille (Fox) O"�Neil. On September 11, 1960, she married Larry Montiel. Survivors include: her husband, Larry; two sons, Juan Montiel and wife Tonia, and Michael Montiel and wife Ronda; two grandchildren, Juan Miguel Montiel and wife Becky and April Cate and husband, Josh; a great granddaughter, Ivy Montiel; and two stepsisters, Dorothy and Mary. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Claude Phillips, and a stepsister, Wanda. Peggy was a member of Nixa Church of Christ. She loved working crossword puzzles and peppermints. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Tom Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in Richwood Cemetery, Nixa. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday in the funeral home.
