Peggy Sue Chaffin

Peggy Sue Chaffin, age 82, of Fremont Hills, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011. She was born July 10, 1929, in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Paul and Beatrice Davis. Following the death of her mother, Sue was raised by the Gott family in Springfield. In 1947 she and Joe Donald Chaffin were married. Sue owned and operated Chaffin"�s Casuals in Ozark, and later managed rental properties. Survivors include: Her son, Chris Chaffin; a daughter, Cynthia Sue Chaffin; a grandson, Chris Chaffin and wife Tabitha, other relatives, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004, a son, Joe Chaffin, and a brother, Charles Davis. A visitation will be Thursday, September 15, from 6:00 "� 7:00 PM in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
