Pearl Ethel Voepel

Pearl Ethel Voepel, age 103, went to her heavenly home after a long and enriched life, on Saturday, July 28, 2012. She was born to Charles and Olga (von Huffmann) Riemenschneider April 11, 1909, in St. Louis. She was joined in marriage to Arthur Jacob Voepel, in a small town bank in Livingston, Illinois, January 13, 1931. Pearl and Arthur were married 72 years until Arthur"�s passing in 2003. Pearl was a Book Keeper for many years for her husband"�s Artistic Cabinet Shop, until she retired. Pearl was a long time member of the Family of Christ Lutheran Church, and was very close to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Pearl is survived by her children; Carolyn Harmon, and husband Bill, of Farmington, Gloria Morrison, and husband Ray, of Nixa, Step Son Arthur Knoche, of Germany, and a daughter in law Kathleen Voepel, of Springfield, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Pearl was preceded in death; by her husband, son Arthur Charles Voepel, daughters Jacqueline Voepel and Rosemary Voepel, great grandson Eric Paul Wooten, sisters; Frieda Wood, Olga Good, Pat Todebush, Edna Riemenscheider, and Amanda Frasca. Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2012 From 6 PM to 8 PM, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 4, 2012, at 10 AM, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with burial to follow at Delaware Cemetery, west of Nixa.
