Patricia Ann Gray

Patricia Ann Gray, age 70, of Nixa passed away in her home Tuesday, September 27, 2016. She was born February 17, 1946 in Lodi, CA to William and Minnie (Turner) Barton, the youngest of four children. She married Charlie Gray August 21, 1965, in Las Vegas, NV at the Little White Wedding Chapel. Patricia was 18 and Charlie was 30. Patricia and Charlie recently celebrated 51 years of a happy marriage. Patricia and Charlie settled in Nixa in 1996. Patricia owned Head First Beauty Shop for over 20, years. After closing the shop, she helped Charlie with Lady Bug Flower Shop until her passing. Patricia was a loving and caring wife to Charlie and mother to Randy and Lea-Anna. Patricia loved people and never knew a stranger. She will be dearly missed. Patricia is survived by her husband Charlie; her children Randy Gray, and his wife Robin, of Springfield and Lea-Anna Gray, of Stanley, NC; a grandson Wesley Forbes; a step grandchild Aaron Ragsdale; a sister Lena Mae Simpson, of Tulare, CA; and a brother Earl Barton, of Visalia, CA. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Jay Barton. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 1, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
