Patricia Ann Bowman

Patricia Ann Bowman, age 76, of Highlandville, passed away Friday, April 8, 2011. She was born December 16, 1934, in Denver, CO, the daughter of William Earl and Ruth Elizabeth (Seastrand) Pratt. Patricia lived in Loveland, Estes Park, and Greeley, CO, and Phoenix, AZ, before moving to Highlandville. She retired after many years from AT&T. Patricia was loved by her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed her animals, fishing, sewing and knitting. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, on January 21, 2011, after 40 years of marriage. Survivors include: Three daughters, Diane Hough and husband Gary, Phoenix, AZ, Kathy Machala and husband Bob, Springfield, and Kelly Baumann, Nixa; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law and his wife, Bill and Judy Bowman with whom she was very close; a very special cousin, Karen Helgager and husband Lowell, CA; and many other relatives and friends. A graveside memorial service will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 2, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, with Pastor Jamie Bilyeu officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
