Orville Gene "Curly" Davidson, passed away on the morning of July 5th 2016, at the age of 88. He was the son of Mida Matthews (Davidson), Raised by his grandmother Maybell Davidson (Johnson), beloved husband of Oablean "Ann" Davidson (Adams), and father to Shirley Radovich (Davidson) and Tina Gragg (Davidson).
He spent most of his adult life working at the Native Wood shop in Ozark to support his family until retirement. He loved working with his hands, hunting, fishing, and making music. He was once well known for his fiddle playing and square dancing abilities.
He enjoyed playing many instruments for his children and grandchildren, and sharing his passion for music with his loved ones. He had many stories to tell about his life to include his childhood during the great depression with one room houses and dirt floors, owning and operating the Ozark caf� with the love of his life Ann, to his young adult years playing music for crowds.
He was an amazing man with multiple talents and a captivating personality. He had a very long and joyous life with many adventures. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Oablean "Ann" Davidson (Adams), his mother Mida Matthews (Davidson), his grandmother Maybell Davidson (Johnson), his many siblings and his four uncles.
He is survived by his two daughter's Shirley Radovich (Davidson) of Ozark, Tina Gragg (Davidson) of Springfield, his granddaughter Che'lin Simpson (Melton) of Springfield, grandson Robert Radovich the 3rd of Ozark, and two great grandchildren Derek Melton and Wayne Simpson III of Springfield.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 9, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 11:30 A.M. in Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark with Father Scott Sunnenberg officiating.
