Opal Marie Sartwell Renfrow, age 85 of Ozark, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2011. She was born on August 25, 1925, to Guy and Grace Sartwell, in Competition, Missouri. She married Pete Monroe Renfrow, Jr. on March 18, 1946, in Olathe, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Billy P. Sartwell; and great-granddaughter, Macey Ann-Marie King. She is survived by her husband, Pete Renfrow of Ozark; her children, Pete Renfrow III and his wife Debbie of Ozark, Linda King of McKinney, Texas, and Kathy (Kate) Renfrow and her husband Phil Dreshfield of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jolyne and David Doyle, of McKinney, Texas, and their children Conor and Brendan; Todd and Dana Renfrow, of Bentonville, Arkansas, and their children, Hayden, Hayley, Reagan, Ryan, Elli and Emma; Craig and Karri Renfrow, of Rogers, Arkansas, and their children, Reid and Brett; Marc and Becky King, of Ozark; Lance and Wendy Renfrow, of Ozark, and their children Ryley and Reese; and Nathan Dreshfield of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by her sister, Winifred Logue of Rogers, Arkansas, and numerous extended family members. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, and considered her family one of her greatest accomplishments. Opal and Pete recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary and served as extraordinary examples to their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As an accomplished gardener, she was known for her love of African Violets. Her talents as a seamstress and cook were unmatched. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her generosity, loving spirit and quick wit. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2011, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. The service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with interment at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, immediately following.
