Opal Redwine Hilton

Opal Hilton, age 95 of Springfield, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012. She was born October 30, 1916 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of William Jefferson and Marie (Hall) Redwine. Opal married Robert Hilton in 1956. She was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Robert Hilton, Springfield; a sister, Margaret Gay, Atlanta; a grandson; two great grandsons, Christopher and William Crusselle; and many nieces and nephews. Opal was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 AM Wednesday immediate before the funeral in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Riverdale Baptist Church or the Diabetes Association.
