Norma Sue Groh, age 79, of Rogersville passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 in Birch Point Health Care. Springfield. She was born March 23, 1939, the daughter of Ben and Goldie (McHaffie) Patterson. Norma was united in marriage to Charles Roy Groh from Queens Village, NY September 28, 1973. Charles preceded her in death October 7, 1997.
Norma was a long time resident of Christian County. She loved the family farm especially her animals. She had a green thumb, raising big gardens. Her favorite pets were her cats. Norma Had prize winning flowers and a fish pond full of fish. Norma was a member of the McHaffie Church.
Norma is survived by one sister of the home Mary Atchison; two nephews Hearvy Smith, his wife Lucille of Fordland, Ben Marlin, his wife Stephanie of Greensboro, NC, Lester Harvey of Fordland; a great-niece Laura Richardson, her husband Philip of Springfield; Great nephews Lester Harvey, Jr. of Fordland, Curtis Marlin of Enumclaw, WA and Breanna and Arthur Marlin.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents Ben and Goldie Patterson; her husband Roy, a sister Barbara Marlin; brothers-in-law Arthur Marlin and Red Atchison; and a niece Deborah Harvey.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Rogersville.
