Norma Beavers

Norma Darline Beavers, age 80, of Ozark, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019. She was born May 1, 1939, in Elsberry, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Schaper) Brooksher. She was a graduate of Missouri State University in Springfield. Norma served her country in the US Air Force from 1962 until 1969. On February 13, 1969 she and Roy David Beavers were united in marriage while Norma was on active duty in England. Norma and Roy were able to travel worldwide. She also enjoyed genealogy and photography. Following retirement Norma and Roy retired to this area. Survivors include: Her husband Roy; a son, Roy Edward Beavers of Ozark; a daughter Darline Elizabeth Stewart and husband Kent of Fate, Texas; two grandchildren, Charlotte and Jacob Stewart; two sisters, Glenda Sissell, and Nancy McDaris; other relatives and friends. A graveside funeral with full military honors will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 10, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
