Nola "Jean" Richardson of Ozark, Missouri passed away peacefully in her home the evening of Thursday July 29, 2021 at the age of 86. She was born in Ava, Missouri on June 4, 1935 to parents Dortha and Noah Plumb. She was happily married on October 5, 1957 to Lester "Pete" Richardson who proudly served in WWII. For the next 59 years they never left each other's side without a kiss goodbye and always sealed their return with a kiss hello.
Her greatest accomplishments include being a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to those who were lucky enough to know her. Her pastimes included many hours of babysitting, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her flowers could put a smile on everybody's face. She enjoyed going to craft fairs with her sister. Her homemade rolls were always the hit of every family gathering.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Noah and Dortha, brother Earl, and husband Lester "Pete" Richardson.
Survivors include her brothers Dean and Jim, sister Katharine, children Caven, Verlon, Ivan and, Tammy. Grandchildren, Nikki, Abby, Lisa, Crystal, Lydia, Eli and Fannie. Great grandchildren Colton, Jeremiah, Ashton, and Natalie, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life for Nola "Jean" Richardson was held Saturday July 31st. She took peace in knowing her ashes would be interred in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri alongside her loving husband.
