Nola Yvonne Herring

Nola Yvonne Herring, of Springfield, formerly of Topeka, Kansas, was born March 30, 1935 in Barnes Kansas to Howard A. Phinney and Helen A. Phinney. She married Charles Herring in 1955. They had three sons, Junior, Randy, and Gregory (Pete). Nola was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Randy Herring (2012) and Gregory Herring (2019), three brothers, Steve Phinney, Donald Phinney, and Stanley Phinney. Nola is survived by brothers Rodney (Maradean) Phinney of Oronogo MO, Denis (Tonia) Phinney of Hurley MO, and sister Judy (Bill) Grattan of Valley Center KS. Nola worked at Adams Business Forms for 35 years. She is also survived by one son, Charles (Junior) Herring of Kechi Kansas. Nola lived most of her life in Topeka, Kansas, and moved near Hurley to be with her brother, Denis, in 2020.
