Neil Rublee

October 30, 1938 — December 19, 2018

Philip "Neil" Rublee is now with his first Love, his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His second love being his family; parents, wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends of his children who spent many hours at our home. Many of these speak of him as a father figure. Neil was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, October 30, 1938 to Lillian (Nielsen) Rublee and Philip Byron Rublee; who are deceased. Following a blind date in Abilene, Texas he married Diane (Fraser) Rublee and they just celebrated 55 years together. Born of this union was Gregory Neil Rublee, Kristina Anne Rublee, Suzanne Karel Rublee and David Robert Rublee. Survivors include his wife, Diane Rublee; and four children, Greg Rublee (Maria), Kristina Rublee-Burry (Martin), Suzanne Rublee Vraa, David (Mary) Rublee. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Austin Brown, Danielle (Chase) Gottman, Wyatt Rublee, Leticia Rublee, Logan Rublee, and River Rublee; and three great-grandchildren, Lucian Gottman, age 6, Dominic Gottman, age 3, and Viktor Gottman, age 10 months. All were very important to Neil. Cousins and childhood friends include Wayne and Dale Carlson. Neil and Diane lived in Ozark, Missouri in the late 1970's and were active members of the Ozark Assembly of God Church. They moved back to Ozark in 2017 from South of Branson to be closer to family and better medical facilities. Due to his infirmities he could not attend church, but the Christian Worship Hour became their home church, and Neil spent time each day in prayer and reading God's Word. Neil and his wife, Diane, lived in many different areas, starting with Texas, Germany, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and Wisconsin. Diane always said she married a "gypsy." Neil loved all animals and had many dogs, cats and horses, most of whom were rescues. Neil graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a degree in Agriculture. He spent many years on the farm and worked in sales. Neil's message to you is: "Receive Jesus as your Savior and see him in Heaven."
