Nancy Kay Wittmaier

Nancy Kay Wittmaier, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 71. Nancy was a loving Christian who found joy in her faith, her family, and her many passions, including fishing, stock car racing, gardening, and caring for her beloved cats. Her kindness, warmth, and vibrant spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by her family, her church family, and her many friends.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Dave Wittmaier; her son, David Wittmaier; and her daughter, Laura Bodenstein (Neal). She was the proud grandmother of Alyson Brizendine (Derek), Joshua Wittmaier (Makenzie), Lauren Elliott (Scott), and Claire McClary (Austin). She cherished her great-grandchildren: Allanah, Teslah, Elizabeth, Roman, Walker, Evie, Leighton, Aubrey, and Willow, her sisters, Ronda Hardgrave (Bill) and Donna Cole (Boyd), and her brother, Tim Grier. Nancy leaves behind her cherished Aunts, Jeanne and Ivan, and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Cecil Grier. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
