Nancy Katherine Ritchey, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away on March 11, 2025. She was born on February 25, 1947, to Wilford and Katherine (Wells) Sangunett.
Nancy graduated from Edison High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1965 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Education from Oklahoma University in 1969. She devoted much of her life to her family as a homemaker and later supported her husband's insurance business before working in the industry herself.
A woman of deep faith, Nancy was an avid Bible reader and had a passion for women’s ministry. She mentored and taught women, helping them grow in their faith, and she loved hosting neighbors and friends for Bible studies. She taught Sunday school at many churches throughout her life, most recently at Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Nancy was known for her giving heart, steady presence, and ability to listen with warmth and wisdom. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend—always willing to help others and bring people together. An extreme organizer, she had a remarkable ability to create order and peace in any situation.
Nancy married David Ritchey on January 21, 1978, and together they built a life filled with love and faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Nancy is survived by her husband, David Ritchey; one son, Jeffrey Ritchey; one sister, Sue (Brad) Jenks.
