Myrtle Sue Loveland, age 85, of Sparta, passed away peacefully in her home Wednesday, December 6, 2023. with her family at her side. She was born July 21, 1938 the daughter of Milton A. and Eliza Ann (Pitts) Little. Myrtle attended school in Ozark. On January 20, 1955 she and Jackie Lee Loveland were united in marriage.
During her working career she was employed by several places including Napolitanos Restaurant in Springfield, Zenith, and served as clerk for Stonewall Motel in Branson. Myrtle enjoyed fishing and loved to bowl when she was able. She organized family reunions for many years. She loved to cook for her family, and will be missed by each family member.
Myrtle attended Baptist Temple in Chadwick.
Survivors include: Her husband, Jack; six sons, Tony Loveland and wife Sandy of Sparta, Mark Loveland of Chadwick, Larry Loveland and wife Tarese of Morrisville, Ben Loveland and wife Marilyn of Bruner, Dan Loveland and wife Julie of Cassville, and Matt Loveland and wife Lisa of Strafford; 34 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Marvin Little and wife Evie of Blue Springs, Jane Blanchard of Ozark, Lucille Dennis of Bradleyville, Florence Rantz of Spokane, and Tommy Little and wife Helen of Ponce de Leon; a sister-in-law, Katy Little; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Myrtle in death were, brothers and sisters, Arthur Little, Ollie Little, Millard Little, Dean Little, Dock Little, Homer Little, Mable Keysser, Estie Dougan, Rosa Little and Willy Little; and her parents.
A celebration of life service will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, April 6, 2024, at New Hope Baptist Church, Ozark. A potluck dinner will follow.
Cremation was under the direction of Adams funeral Home, and Adams Crematory.
