Mildred A. Grimmet

Mildred A. Grimmet, age 94, of Ozark, died Sunday, February 6, 2011 in her home. She was a retired Federal Government employee, having worked for the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C., Canada, England, Germany and Switzerland. Mildred was born in Douglas County, Missouri, on March 24, 1916, the daughter of Frank and Elsie (Hall) Grimmet. She was a member of Ozark First Baptist Church. Survivors include: Two sisters, Helen Ewing, Ozark, and Frances Ewing, Oldfield; and many, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers-in-law, Oliver Ewing and Jim Ewing. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 12, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Hall Cemetery at Mound, Douglas County.
