Michael Lee Deulen

Michael Lee Deulen, age 67 was born October 2, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri, to Orville Lee and Kathleen (Hedgpeth) Deulen. He is survived by his wife Margaret, of the home; one daughter, Leah Maples and husband Scott; one son, Jason Deulen and wife Diane; one sister, Margie Messenger and husband Gene; one stepson, Matt Moody; one stepdaughter, Tara Dennis and husband Hayden; five grandchildren, Kyle and Nick Maples, and Kelton, Cooper and Trevor Deulen; three step grandchildren, Makayla Moody, and Holden and London Dennis; one great step granddaughter, Ayvah Jennings; one nephew, Rodney Messenger; and one niece, Sarah Terral. Michael was preceded in death by his parents. Michael was a professional welder and machinist. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Michael was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to cut wood with his friends. In his last few years, he has enjoyed spending time at his camper at the lake. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 6 in Dennis Cemetery, Mansfield, Missouri, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Harold Dennis officiating.
