11/12/1942Max Eldon Eldred, age 69, of Ozark, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012. He was born November 12, 1942, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Harvey and Lena (Reeves) Eldred. He grew up in Springfield, and on December 22, 1967 he and Janet Lea Wade were united in marriage. Max worked in manufacturing including Fasco before retirement. He enjoyed gaming, fishing and hunting. Survivors include: His wife, Janet; three sons, Bruce Eldred and wife Fran, and their son Blake, of Sparta; Brad Eldred and wife Ashley and their daughter, Hayley, of Ozark; and Tim Eldred of Springfield; two sisters, Mary Jackson, Ozark, and Carolyn Russell and husband Rex, Springfield; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol and Brice Shepherd, Rockford, Illinois, Linda Grider, Rockford, Illinois, Bonnie and Ronnie Williams, Wichita, Kansas, and Judy and Steve Kiefer, Nixa; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother-in-law, Loretta Wade, and brother-in-law, Don Jackson. A graveside funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, July 16, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, with Pastor Bobby Stout officiating.
